Information

Tulum, an eco-friendly beach destination, used to be the main Mayan port before the arrival of the Spanish and what is left of this, is what’s shown as the usual city portrait you’ll find everywhere. In contrast to the big luxury resorts you will find along the Mayan Riviera, Tulum is full with eco cabañas, where water is salty, light is available for only a few hours, no air conditioned is used on rooms and no tv or wifi is usually found, so if you are looking to disconnect from everything, this is your dreamed place. Tulum beach is without doubt, one of the best in Mexico, and it’s posh vibe makes it the perfect retreat for practicing yoga, going on honeymoon, weekend escaping or so; but don’t be fooled, the relaxing vibe doesn’t make it cheaper; hotels, restaurants and bars tend to be pricy. Also, most of the establishments do not accept cards, only cash and you can find many ATM’s on your way. Weather is tropical and sunny all year long, with September to October being a bit rainy. When going to Tulum you’ll land at Cancun Airport and the ride is about 2 hours. There are two different parts: downtown and hotel zone. Hotel zone is by far, the recommended one for tourists as it is where you’ll find all the fun! Ruins are also by the entrance of the hotel zone. Once in town, we recommend renting a bike to move around, as parking is not available everywhere and depending on where you are going, distances can be long. If you’re in need of buying groceries, you can ask your driver on the way to your hotel for a quick stop (5 min) or for hours (as much as you need, charge per hour) to avoid going all the way back while vacationing. Our Tulum transfers will take to your cabaña, hotel, condo or destination address with the comfort, safety and punctuality that only our services offer.
